In addition to being a writer, Aisling is active in her community. She's the founding vice president of Memphis Loves Kids, a non-profit corporation that works to promote everything that's great about Memphis for families with children. Memphis Loves Kids also helps to connect other non-profits that serve the city's children with helpful resources. 

Aisling is also the longtime volunteer PR director for V-Day Memphis, an organization that raises funds and awareness to help victims of domestic violence. 

She  enjoys animals, arts and crafts, theatre, vegetarian cooking, hiking, reading, history, Irish mythology, making friends laugh, and spending time with the people she loves.  

Aisling lives in Memphis with her  husband, daughter and six rescued animals.
